What we move to and from you
By sea we are close to balanced, which is rare and which is what makes a two-way partnership worth building. By air we are overwhelmingly an importer from you — fifteen tonnes in for every one out. That is the leg where a partner like you would make the real difference.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE are our two biggest US desks, at 60 and 50 TEU outbound. Kuwait has not returned its export column, so 111 is a floor.
948 US enquiries reached our desks in the last three months, from 496 different customers — counted as separate conversations, not emails. 239 of them were live rate requests. Over twelve months it is 2,642 conversations from 1,128 customers. That is the flow that needs someone at your end.
